The Creek

The Creek offers down-home American fare in relaxing, upscale surroundings. Enjoy everything from sirloin steaks to burgers and fries. They also have a wide variety of microbrew beers and cocktails, as well as an extensive wine list. The Creek is walking distance from Hotel St. Nicholas, and they offer some of the best food you'll find in Cripple Creek. We highly recommend The Creek.

Gold Camp Cafe


  • Address: 333 E. Bennett Ave. Cripple Creek, CO
  • Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.  (Sunday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Gold Camp Cafe, an excellent coffee shop and cafe, is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy a variety of offerings, including fresh squeezed lemonade, chipotle chicken avocdao panini, and caramel macchiato. If you stop by for breakfast, make sure to try the bacon breakfast burrito (eggs, bacon, and cheddar cheese in a tortilla).

The owners of Gold Camp Cafe also own The District (opening soon). It should have the same great food that you'll find at Gold Camp Cafe.

Lombard's

  • Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday

One of Double Eagle Casino's restaurants includes Lombard's. This eatery offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with set hours for each meal. Breakfast is typically served until 11 most mornings and until noon on Sunday. The menu is diverse with plenty of breakfast options. The lunch and dinner options include pizza, salad, sandwiches, burgers and soups.

McGills' Pint & Platter

  • Hours: Noon to 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday

You don't need to go to Ireland to experience an Irish pub. Pint and Platter sits in McGills Casino and offers a specialized lunch and dinner menu. Visitors can enjoy cold drinks, hot food and Guiness beer. Hot foods include burgers, steak, seafood and more. Along with tasty food options, Pint and Platter also offers a unique look thanks to its decor.

Maggie's Restaurant

  • Hours: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Daily

Maggie's Restaurant is a great place to go for date night. Many guests have commented on the restaurant only being open to diners older than 21. The menu includes a host of different American options such as hamburgers, sandwiches, fries and desserts. Guests can also order pasta, steak, baked potatoes and many other tasty options.

Dynamite Dick's

  • Hours: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Daily

Sitting in the Midnight Rose Casino is Dynamite Dick's. The restaurant offers a bevy of options whenever you come to visit. There is a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, making it an ideal place to stop off during the day. There are also a wide array of desserts available for guests.
